Let’s face it––sometimes the metrics available by default in the tools we use just aren’t enough. Sometimes, we need to dig deeper into performance to make sense of trends and really understand how our teams are performing.

You know this. That’s why so many of our users have been asking for the ability to create custom metrics using their performance data from Pipedrive CRM, HubSpot CRM, and HubSpot Marketing.

We listened. And now, we’re excited to launch Query Builder for all 3 of these tools. Read on for the specifics on how each one works.

Here’s what we’ll cover:

Query Builder for Pipedrive CRM

Query Builder for Pipedrive CRM allows you to dig deeper into your Pipedrive data using advanced filtering in Databox or custom filters set in your Pipedrive CRM account.

Four New Query Builder Tabs to Cover all Pipedrive CRM Focus Areas

You now have four new tabs in the Pipedrive CRM Query Builder at your disposal –

Deals

To report on ongoing won or lost deals during the specified date range, selected the “Deals” tab in the Pipedrive CRM Query Builder.

Here, you can also access Deals-specific data created by a custom filter set for the metric within your Pipedrive CRM account.

For example, if you wanted to report on deals won by a specific team, you’d want to create a custom filter in Pipedrive CRM with multiple conditions matching the owner to each team member. You can then pull the right deals data into a Databox metric or dashboard filtered by team.

Activities

To report on emails, calls, meetings, tasks, and other activities during a specified date range, select the “Activities” tab in Query Builder.

Here, you can also access activities-specific data created by a custom filter set for the metric within your Pipedrive CRM account.

For example, if you wanted to report on meetings added by a location, you’d want to create a custom filter in Pipedrive CRM where the custom field = location. You can then pull the activities data into Databox for meetings by location.

Organizations

To report on organizations-based metrics like open deals count, email messages count, people count, undone activities count, files count, and similar for a specific group of organizations during a specified date range, select the “Organizations” tab.

Here, any custom metric built will return a list of organizations and their associated metric values. The only organizations that will be returned satisfy the parameters outlined in the filter(s). Filters can be added to differentiate between individual organizations or metric values.

You can also access Organizations-specific data created by a custom filter set for the metric within your Pipedrive CRM account.

For example, if you wanted to report on count of organizations in a specific industry, you’d want to create a custom filter in Pipedrive CRM where custom field = industry. You can then pull the count of organizations data into Databox to report on with that filter.
