ClickLearn uses Databox to centralize performance from sources like Microsoft Dynamics CRM, HubSpot, and multiple digital ad platforms.
Dennis Siano Hauge is the Growth Marketing Manager at ClickLearn, a Denmark-based SaaS company that specializes in digital adoption and user guidance for large enterprises. With offices in the US, Canada, India, and Australia, ClickLearn provides tools that help enterprise software users create training and documentation simply by clicking through processes. Dennis is responsible for scaling ClickLearn’s digital presence across multiple channels, including LinkedIn, Google, Bing, Facebook, and Capterra.
Before Databox, ClickLearn struggled with fragmented data spread across Microsoft Dynamics CRM, HubSpot, and multiple digital ad platforms. Relying on Power BI for high-level reporting, Dennis found it difficult to act quickly or generate clear, actionable insights without extensive manual effort.
“We didn’t have the ability to get numbers on demand. Every week during our sales and marketing meeting, we needed to know our spend, leads, cost per opportunity, and more. But that meant hours of work in Excel or waiting for someone with advanced Power BI skills.”
The lack of immediate, accessible data hindered both marketing operations and leadership’s ability to make timely decisions. Dennis needed a platform that was easy to use, integrated with all their systems, and didn’t require a math degree to operate.
ClickLearn explored several tools before choosing Databox. For Dennis, it came down to integration, usability, and visual appeal.
“The main reason we chose Databox was the integrations. It could connect to all our systems quickly. And visually, the dashboards were impressive and easy to understand for non-technical users.”
Even with an Enterprise Solution still in use for some reporting, Databox quickly filled a critical gap by delivering fast, daily insight into marketing performance.
Dennis led the implementation and started by mapping out the key metrics they wanted to track. He and his team sketched ideas on paper and whiteboards to visualize what their ideal dashboards would look like.
“We had clear goals. We wanted to see cost per opportunity, total spend, number of leads, and conversions. Once we defined that, setting up Databox was easy. The onboarding was smooth, the support was excellent, and the calculated metrics feature blew us away.”
Though initially unfamiliar with some of Databox’s terminology, Dennis quickly learned the ropes through documentation, blog posts, and responsive support. He especially valued the ability to create powerful calculated metrics without needing deep technical skills.
Since implementing Databox, ClickLearn has transformed its approach to data:
“It’s not just about time savings. The real value is being able to prove the ROI of our marketing. I now have the data to justify bigger budgets because I can show how we’re driving opportunities.”
“If you’re in digital marketing and need to prove the value of your efforts, Databox is a no-brainer. It’s affordable, fast, and gives you the insights you need to make better decisions every day.”
