For LinkedIn Ads discrepancies may appear in campaign metrics when targeting members in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland. These discrepancies result from requirements imposed by the EU Digital Markets Act (DMA).
Due to LinkedIn’s compliance changes, users running campaigns targeting these regions may notice fewer conversions, smaller audience sizes, and shifts in ROI, impacting campaign and reporting metrics.
You can learn more about this here.
If your LinkedIn Ads data suddenly disappears from Databox (after being available initially), it may be because the user who originally connected the account has lost the necessary permissions in LinkedIn.
To fix this, the user must either regain the ‘Super Admin’ role on LinkedIn or have another user with the correct access reconnect the LinkedIn Ads account.
The ‘Media creatives’ feature is available for all Linkedin Ads ‘by Ad’ basic dimensional metrics (for example – ‘Impressions by Ad’, ‘Leads by Ad’, etc.). Feature is supported only on the ‘Table’ visualization.
The following LinkedIn Company Pages metrics are no-reset metrics. No-reset metrics are not reset to value 0 with every new day.
The following LinkedIn Company Pages metrics are non-aggregatable metrics.
This means that, due to the nature of these metrics, adding daily, weekly, or monthly values together will not provide accurate results for extended time periods.
Due to API limitations, hourly, weekly, and quarterly granularities are not supported. This may affect visualization options for Charts in Databox.
For example, if a LinkedIn Ads metric is used on a Line or Bar chart with ‘Yesterday” date range selected, hourly data won’t be displayed on the Chart.
However, the big number above the Chart will accurately reflect the metric value for the selected date range.

When comparing the values of a custom metric with those of a basic metric, some daily values might be missing.
Here’s why:
Additionally, due to technical limitations, the ‘All Time’ date range will only return a maximum of 24 months of historical data from when the metric is first used in Databox.
API limitations further restrict the availability of daily data to a maximum of 6 months before the metric is first used in Databox. This could affect how LinkedIn Ads metrics are displayed on charts.
However, the big number above the chart will still accurately reflect the metric value for the entire selected date range.
