The metric ‘Reach’ shows the same daily values in Databox as in the Instagram Business User Interface. However, Databox calculates the metric value on top of the chart (the so-called Big Number) by summing the daily values, while the Big Number that’s visible on Instagram is not a sum, but rather a unique value for that period. As a result, discrepancies can appear between the values in Databox and those in the Instagram Business User Interface. Instagram Business data is synced via Facebook Pages, so the behavior of the Instagram Business ‘Reach’ metric is similar to the behavior of the Facebook Pages ‘Reach’ metric. More information on these metric characteristics is available in Why Page Reach’ is different in Databox vs Facebook.
