  • API Limitations for SemRush Domain Organic Keywords Metric

The SemRush Domain Metrics available in Databox are: Domain Rank, Domain Organic Keywords, Domain Organic Traffic, Domain Organic Cost, Domain Adwords Keywords, Domain Adwords Traffic and Domain Adwords Cost.

The following API limitations affect all SemRush Domain Metrics:

    1. Due to an API limitation, Databox can only get daily and monthly values from the API for Domain Metrics, meaning only daily and monthly granularities are available. The API returns daily data only for the last 30 days and monthly data for the last 12 months.
    2. Daily data for Domain Metrics can be obtained up to yesterday since SemRush API has a 2-day delay, meaning it does not return values for the current day and the day before.
    3. Monthly data for Domain Metrics can be obtained up to the current moment (i.e. current month).
    4. When Domain Metrics are displayed on the Line/Bar Chart, the value of the last day in the selected Date Range will be displayed as the Big Number (the value above the chart) in case there is no value for the whole Date Range (meaning if the month is not finished yet). In case the last day’s value is missing for any reason, the Big Number will not be displayed, and the users will see ”-” instead of the value.
