Get Access To More Integrations And Metrics…

As a business, you’re using various tools and platforms to manage your operations. Each of these tools generates valuable data that can help you understand how a section of your business is performing. But, to really unlock insights, you need to be able to see the bigger picture. Without a way to create custom integrations, you’ll likely run into issues with…

  • Incomplete insights: Your team has unique needs when it comes to data. Without the ability to create custom metrics, you may be missing out on critical insights.
  • Scaling your team’s data – As your business grows and adopts new tools and platforms, you’ll need more flexibility with the types of data and tools you can integrate with.
  • Reporting visibility– If you can’t visualize all of your data in one platform, you may end up missing or overlooking valuable insights.

Using Custom Integrations in Databox, you’ll be able to…

  • Create more robust metrics – With 30+ Custom API Integrations, you’ll be able to build the exact metrics you need for your business.
  • Create a single source of truth – By connecting to your SQL database, you can transform complex language structures and large data sets into beautiful and easily understood visualizations.

HOW TO CONNECT CUSTOM INTEGRATIONS

How To Connect Custom API Integrations To Build Robust Metrics

When it comes to pulling data from non-native integrations, tools like Zapier and Make can definitely come in handy. But, they don’t always provide the level of flexibility and control that you need when building unique metrics for your business.

By using Custom API Integrations, you can create more advanced metrics that take your reporting to the next level. With more control over how your data is set up, you’ll create metrics that third-party tools just can’t match.

To browse the available Custom API Integrations, navigate to the Data Manager. Then:

  • Select + New Connection
  • Select Custom API Integrations under the dropdown menu Show

Once you’ve found the Custom API Integration you would like to connect with, click Connect.

The connection flow will be no different than the one for native integrations. This means you’ll either be prompted to use your login details, API key, or URL.

How To Connect Your SQL Database To Visualize Performance

From tracking customer orders to storing employee information, SQL is a go-to for businesses that need to store and organize large amounts of data. But, having access to all this raw data is not enough. You need to be able to visualize it.

By connecting your SQL database to Databox, you can transform your data into stunning easy-to-understand visualizations.

From the Data Manager, you’ll be able to filter results to only show SQL database integrations.

But, before connecting your SQL database, you’ll first want to prepare the database and host. To learn how to do this for your specific database, you’ll want to:

  • Find the database from the list of Data Source connections
  • Click Connect
  • Select the tab Help Article

Once you’ve read the relevant help article and are ready to take the next step, click Connect Now.

How To Connect The REST API To Scale Your Data Source Connections

APIs are the backbone of many of our favorite apps and websites. It’s what allows different platforms to communicate with each other and share data.

So, what do you do when the data source you need is not natively available in Databox? By using the Databox REST API and connecting it directly to data source’s API, you’ll be able to sync data from almost any platform. This means you won’t need to jump between different tools to get the insights you need—it’s all in Databox.

To create your own REST API Data Source connection, type Custom Rest API in the search bar and press the green Connect button. You’ll then be prompted to enter your Custom Data Source Connection details and authorize the Databox app. Learn more about what we support and how to activate a Custom REST API here.
