How To Access And Use Public Dashboard Templates

Whether you’re tracking metrics for marketing, sales, finance, or more, the template library is a great resource you can use to quickly and efficiently build dashboards, without compromising on quality. You can easily find templates for various categories and data sources including:

  • Marketing Dashboards
    • Google Analytics, Google Search Console, HubSpot Marketing, and more.
  • Sales Dashboards
    • HubSpot CRM, Salesforce, Pipedrive, SharpSpring, and more.
  • Customer Support Dashboards
    • Intercom, HelpScout, Drift, and more.
  • eCommerce Dashboards
    • WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, and more.
  • Project Management Dashboards
    • Asana, Jire, Harvest, and more.

To access the public dashboard template library, navigate to Databoards. Then, select Public Templates.

Once you’re in the dashboard template library, you can narrow down your search using…

  • Category –  filter dashboard templates by department or industry.
  • Data Source – use this field to filter dashboard templates by platform.
  • Search Bar – use the search bar to filter results by specific keywords.

To improve your search, consider using all three options. As an example, let’s say you work in marketing and you’re looking for a dashboard that will help you monitor Facebook Ads campaigns. You’ll…

  • Select Marketing as your Category
  • Select Facebook Ads as your Data Source
  • Type Campaign in the search bar

If you want to get a glimpse of what your data might look like in a template, hover over the dashboard and click the Preview button.

To use a template, click the green Use Template button and select the appropriate data source connection from the drop-down menu. The dashboard is now yours to keep and customize!

How To Edit A Dashboard Template To Monitor Exactly What You Need

Let’s say you’re browsing the template library and you can’t seem to find a dashboard that covers exactly what you need. Instead of building something from scratch, find a template that is a close match to what you’re looking for and download it to your account.

Then, press the blue Edit button. From there, you’ll be able to easily add or remove metrics, update the layout, adjust your metric settings, and make the dashboard look and feel a little more like your own.
