In the fast-paced world of data, updating a Report with the latest available information can feel like an impossible task. With Scheduled Reports, you can automatically deliver up-to-date Reports to the right person, at the right time!
Updating your reports with the latest data can take up a lot of your time, especially when you need to report on your performance regularly. Done manually, you’re not just about updating the numbers and screenshots, but also sending reports one by one to stakeholders or clients. Without a way to automate your reporting process, you’ll risk…
Let’s say you’re responsible for creating and sharing regular performance reports in your organization. Every week you spend hours gathering insights about the numbers from each team member, updating each report with all of the compiled information, then sending them out individually to the right people in the appropriate channels.
With scheduled reports, you can automate this entire process. In the Report Editor, click Automate and select the delivery option that works best for you. You can choose to have your reports automatically sent via email or to a Slack channel.
If you choose to deliver your reports via email, you’ll be able to specify email receipts. Email recipients do not need to have a Databox account. Then:
When you’re ready, click Create New Schedule and let Databox handle the rest.
When you’re managing multiple reports, it’s easy to forget to make important updates to your data or insights. By setting up Reminders, you’ll be able to do all of your quality checks before your Reports are sent out so your data is always accurate and valuable to the people receiving them.
So, let’s say you’ve scheduled your Report to be sent out every Friday at 4:00 pm. To give you enough time to review your data, you might want to receive a notification every Thursday morning.
To set up a reminder, click Remind Me from within the Report editor. Then:
So, your Reminder would look something like this: ‘Remind Me Weekly Every Thursday at 9:00 am’.
Once you’re done, click Set New Reminder.
Using the Schedules tab, you’ll have a record of all of the Report Schedules you have created in your account. This will allow you to quickly search through all of your automations so you can make changes as needed.
