This metric shows the top keywords for a domain or URL ranked by their organic search position, excluding local and hotel-related queries. It helps identify profitable keywords that drive traffic to a website and can inform SEO strategies to improve ranking for these high-value keywords.
With Databox you can track all your metrics from various data sources in one place.
Used to show comparisons between values.
Databox is a business analytics software that allows you to track and visualize your most important metrics from any data source in one centralized platform.
To track Top Keywords by Position (excl. Local, Hotel) using Databox, follow these steps:
When you set up a Project in Semrush, make sure that you enter your Domain without ‘www’. When connecting Semrush to Databox, the Domain should be entered in the form ‘urlname.com’ and not as ‘www.urlname.com’.
Note that the Project Domain cannot be changed for existing projects in Semrush. Instead, a new Project with the Project Domain in the correct form has to be created in Semrush and a new connection should be set up in Databox using the correct Domain. Historical data can be pulled into the new Project.
If the Project Domain is not set correctly, this can cause missing keywords for the ‘Top Keywords by Position’ metric.
SEMrush API does not return data for the ‘Today’ Date Range for all Top Keywords by Position metrics, since the position is not final until the day is over. Due to this limitation, the data for ‘Today’ Date Range will not be visible in Databox.
The Estimated Traffic by Competitor metric shows how much traffic a competitor's website is receiving, based on their rankings and estimated click-through rates for each keyword.
The Broken Pages metric is a SEMrush tool that identifies website pages with broken links or errors that negatively affect user experience and SEO optimization.
The Keywords in TOP 3 (without Hotels) metric displays the number of keywords a website ranks for in the top 3 search results, excluding hotel-related keywords. This metric is useful for tracking a website's visibility and performance in organic search, and can provide insights into the effectiveness of SEO strategies.
Keywords in TOP 100 (without Hotels) is a SEMrush metric that counts the number of keywords for which your website appears in the top 100 search results, excluding hotels. This helps to assess your website's visibility in search engines for relevant keywords in your industry.
Total CPC (Cost Per Click) split up by Domain Organic Keywords. No historical data is available from before the initial connection.
Total Traffic split up by Domain Organic Keywords. No historical data is available from before the initial connection.

Total Ref. Domains by Competitor is a SEMrush metric that shows the number of unique referring domains pointing to a competitor's website. It helps you understand the linking profile of your competitors and benchmark your own link building efforts against them.
