This metric shows the top keywords for a domain or URL ranked by their organic search position, excluding local and hotel-related queries. It helps identify profitable keywords that drive traffic to a website and can inform SEO strategies to improve ranking for these high-value keywords.
With Databox you can track all your metrics from various data sources in one place.
Used to show comparisons between values.
Databox is a business analytics software that allows you to track and visualize your most important metrics from any data source in one centralized platform.
To track Top Keywords by Position (excl. Local, Hotel) using Databox, follow these steps:
When you set up a Project in Semrush, make sure that you enter your Domain without ‘www’. When connecting Semrush to Databox, the Domain should be entered in the form ‘urlname.com’ and not as ‘www.urlname.com’.
Note that the Project Domain cannot be changed for existing projects in Semrush. Instead, a new Project with the Project Domain in the correct form has to be created in Semrush and a new connection should be set up in Databox using the correct Domain. Historical data can be pulled into the new Project.
If the Project Domain is not set correctly, this can cause missing keywords for the ‘Top Keywords by Position’ metric.
SEMrush API does not return data for the ‘Today’ Date Range for all Top Keywords by Position metrics, since the position is not final until the day is over. Due to this limitation, the data for ‘Today’ Date Range will not be visible in Databox.
Absolute Visibility is a SEMrush metric that gives you a percentage indicating how visible a domain or URL is in search results, taking into account all its ranking keywords.
Estimated Traffic is a metric in SEMrush that shows the estimated monthly search traffic that a particular domain, subdomain, or URL receives from Google's organic search results.
The Incoming Internal Links metric shows the number of hyperlinks on a website that lead to other pages within the same site. It measures the internal linking structure of a website.
This metric shows the top keywords that bring traffic to a specific website ranked by their position in the paid search results, local listings, and hotel booking sites, but excluding organic search results.
The Keywords in TOP 3 (without Organic Rankings) metric measures the number of paid keywords that your website appears in the top three search results for on Google, excluding any organic search rankings. It helps you evaluate the effectiveness of your paid search strategy.
The Keywords in TOP 20 (without Organic Rankings) metric shows the number of keywords that a domain or URL is ranking for in the top 20 positions of search engine results pages, excluding those already ranking organically. This metric helps identify keyword opportunities for a domain or URL to improve its visibility and reach on search engines.
