Top Keywords by Position (excl. Local) is a metric in SEMrush that shows the most popular organic search keywords that drive traffic to a website and their corresponding positions on Google search results, excluding local search results. This information helps understand the website's SEO effectiveness and identify opportunities for improving keyword ranking and traffic.
With Databox you can track all your metrics from various data sources in one place.
Used to show comparisons between values.
Databox is a business analytics software that allows you to track and visualize your most important metrics from any data source in one centralized platform.
To track Top Keywords by Position (excl. Local) using Databox, follow these steps:
When you set up a Project in Semrush, make sure that you enter your Domain without ‘www’. When connecting Semrush to Databox, the Domain should be entered in the form ‘urlname.com’ and not as ‘www.urlname.com’.
Note that the Project Domain cannot be changed for existing projects in Semrush. Instead, a new Project with the Project Domain in the correct form has to be created in Semrush and a new connection should be set up in Databox using the correct Domain. Historical data can be pulled into the new Project.
If the Project Domain is not set correctly, this can cause missing keywords for the ‘Top Keywords by Position’ metric.
SEMrush API does not return data for the ‘Today’ Date Range for all Top Keywords by Position metrics, since the position is not final until the day is over. Due to this limitation, the data for ‘Today’ Date Range will not be visible in Databox.
The Average Position metric in SEMrush measures the typical rank of a website's organic search results for targeted keywords over a certain period.
SEMrush Site Audit Score is a comprehensive metric that evaluates the technical health of a website and assigns a score out of 100, indicating critical issues, warnings, and recommendations for improvement.
The Errors by Category metric in SEMrush identifies the technical SEO issues of a website, grouped into categories such as server, redirect, content, meta, etc. It helps to identify and prioritize the errors that need fixing for improving website performance and organic search visibility.
This metric shows the top keywords that bring traffic to a website, excluding those that include the business name. It includes both local and hotel searches, and displays the position of each keyword in search results.
The Keywords in TOP 20 (without Local Pack) metric shows the number of organic search keywords for which a website or domain ranks within the top 20 search engine results pages, excluding any local pack results. This metric is a key indicator of a website's SEO performance and can help identify opportunities for improvement.
