Upon signing up, the Affiliate will be issued a unique username and password to access its Program account in the Affiliate tool (FirstPromoter), neither of which may be used by any person other than the Affiliate. The Affiliate is responsible for maintaining the security of its Program login credentials. Databox shall not be liable for any damage or losses caused by any unauthorized use of the Affiliate’s Program account.
Upon Program application approval by Databox, you will receive a unique Affiliate ID in FirstPromoter and Affiliate URL which you will use to market and promote Databox. You are responsible for ensuring that all Affiliate information and details are accurate and complete when participating in the Program. When a Prospect clicks through the Affiliate URL, a cookie (or similar tracking technology) will be set in the Prospect’s Internet browser with your Affiliate ID. The Prospect’s IP address may also be logged with your Affiliate ID.
During a Prospect’s visit to the Program Site, any transaction related to the Databox Product(s) (whether a purchase or a refund) will be tracked and recorded based on the existence of the Databox cookie. Databox may collect, use, and share any information or data generated through the Databox Product(s) and/or Program Site for business purposes. In order to receive proper credit for valid sales, a Prospect must purchase the Databox Product(s) through your unique Affiliate URL.
3. Commission Payment
Databox’s recurring Affiliate commission fee is 20% of each Affiliate Lead’s purchased subscription for the first 12 months of the Affiliate Lead’s subscription. During this 12 month period, Affiliates will receive the aforementioned 20% commission each month for as long as the Affiliate Lead remains a paying customer.
Unless otherwise stated in the applicable IO, Databox shall remit payment of Commission Fees to Affiliate at the beginning of each calendar month in which the valid actions were generated and recorded (link clicked) within 90 days (cookies) by Databox and Databox Affiliate Tool (FirstPromoter). Applicable commissions will not be paid for any actions for which payment has not been received in full by Databox, or is otherwise rejected for any reason by Databox. Any pending commissions shall not bear interest.
Commission Fees shall be paid based on the current information in your Affiliate profile. You are required to notify us promptly of any change in your address by updating your profile information via email.
No payment will be issued to the Affiliate for invalid, duplicate, rejected, or fraudulent actions.
In order to receive payment under this Agreement, you must:
(a) agree to the terms of this Agreement; and
(b) have a valid and up-to-date PayPal account.
Databox reserves the right to suspend the payment of Commission Fees at any time and indefinitely, if it suspects fraud or other improper activity or a potential breach of any of the terms of this Agreement by the Affiliate or a Referred Customer.
4. PayPal Payments
Please refer to PayPal’s policy to ensure you are eligible to receive payment if you reside outside of the United States. PayPal payments will only be reissued within sixty (60) days of the original issue date in the case of an incorrect PayPal address or refusal from PayPal to accept a payment.
Commission Fees shall only be owed for a maximum of sixty (60) days after the successful subscription payment is made by the Customer. If an Affiliate does not have a PayPal address set up in the Affiliate Tool or is unable to receive the PayPal payment within 60 days for any reason, they will no longer be owed the commission. Commission Fees are only valid for payment for 60 days after the subscription payment date.
5. Taxes and Fees
You are responsible for payment of all taxes applicable to the Commission. All amounts payable by us to you are subject to offset by us against any amounts owed by you to us.
Databox is not responsible for paying any third-party fees charged by PayPal for you to receive Affiliate Commission Fees.
6. Commission Amounts & Limits
We reserve the right to alter or change the Commission amount. We will post all information regarding the Commission amount on our Program Policies Page.
Each accepted Affiliate Lead will expire according to the information provided on the Program Policies Page, from the date the Affiliate Lead clicked on the Affiliate Link that was made available by you. As of October 24, 2025, this period is 90 days. We will pay you a recurring 20% Commission for each successful payment made by each Customer who completes a valid Customer Transaction after clicking on an Affiliate Link made available by you, provided that you remain eligible to receive Commission pursuant to the terms of this Agreement.
The start of the Customer’s subscription is determined by the date of the first purchase of the Subscription Service by the Customer and you will receive a Commission payment for that Customer Transaction and its recurrences for up to 12 months, regardless of any additional purchases made by that Customer during their Subscription Service.
The Affiliate will be entitled to receive Commission on any additional purchases (upgrades) of Databox Products by that same Customer if they are executed within the first 12 months of their subscription. In other words, the Affiliate will receive a 20% Commission on the last Subscription Service’s invoice amount for the first 12 months of their Affiliate Customer’s subscription service.
If the original subscription is canceled, the Affiliate will stop receiving commission. If the Customer re-purchases a paid plan at a later date, the Affiliate will be eligible to receive recurring commission for that Customer for up to 12 months after the original purchase of the Subscription Service.
Databox reserves the right to deduct from Affiliate’s current and future Commission Fees any and all Commission Fees corresponding to any fraudulent, questionable, and canceled purchases.
Affiliates are not eligible to receive commissions for referring a company they own or that employs them.
Any attempt by an Affiliate to manipulate, falsify or inflate Referred Customers, Qualified Purchases, or Commission Fees to intentionally defraud Databox or any violation of the terms of this Agreement constitute immediate grounds for Databox to terminate the Affiliate’s participation in the Affiliate Program and will result in the forfeiture of any Commission Fees due to the Affiliate.
