This metric shows the top keywords that bring traffic to a specific website ranked by their position in the paid search results, local listings, and hotel booking sites, but excluding organic search results.
With Databox you can track all your metrics from various data sources in one place.
Used to show comparisons between values.
Databox is a business analytics software that allows you to track and visualize your most important metrics from any data source in one centralized platform.
To track Top Keywords by Position (incl. Local, Hotel, excl. Organic) using Databox, follow these steps:
When you set up a Project in Semrush, make sure that you enter your Domain without ‘www’. When connecting Semrush to Databox, the Domain should be entered in the form ‘urlname.com’ and not as ‘www.urlname.com’.
Note that the Project Domain cannot be changed for existing projects in Semrush. Instead, a new Project with the Project Domain in the correct form has to be created in Semrush and a new connection should be set up in Databox using the correct Domain. Historical data can be pulled into the new Project.
If the Project Domain is not set correctly, this can cause missing keywords for the ‘Top Keywords by Position’ metric.
SEMrush API does not return data for the ‘Today’ Date Range for all Top Keywords by Position metrics, since the position is not final until the day is over. Due to this limitation, the data for ‘Today’ Date Range will not be visible in Databox.
The Keywords in TOP 10 (without Local Pack) metric refers to the number of keywords that a website ranks for in the top 10 of search engine results pages (SERPs) for a given domain. It does not include local pack results, which are the business listings that appear in a user's local search results. This metric is a key indicator of a website's overall search engine optimization (SEO) success and can help identify areas for improvement.
The Keywords in TOP 10 (without Hotels) metric shows the number of keywords for which a website ranks in the top 10 search results, excluding hotel-related terms. It helps analyze a website's organic search performance and gives insights into the effectiveness of its SEO strategy.

Keywords in Top 100 is a SEMrush metric that shows the number of keywords for which a domain or URL ranks in the top 100 search engine results pages (SERPs). It helps to evaluate the domain's or URL's visibility and track SEO performance.
Keywords in TOP 100 (without Organic Rankings) is a SEMrush metric that shows the number of keywords for which the website is ranking within the top 100 search results, but not in the top 20 organic results. This data can help identify opportunities for improving search visibility and increasing organic traffic.
The Previous Position split up by Domain Organic Keywords. No historical data is available from before the initial connection.
Total Traffic Cost split up by Domain Adwords Keywords. No historical data is available from before the initial connection.
Domain Adwords Cost is a SEMrush metric that estimates the cost of paid advertising for a domain on Google AdWords. It provides insight into a competitor's advertising budget and strategy.
