Hello everyone. Welcome to another episode of Data Snacks.

Today, we’re going to talk about tracking multiple Facebook Ad Campaigns in Databox.

But, let’s first see what Ad tracking looks like in Facebook Ads Manager

In the Facebook Ads Dashboard, we can track campaigns that are further divided into Ad Sets and Ads. The goals that we set for each campaign can be viewed in the Results section.

These goals (Results) can differ depending on what you want to analyze. We can set them to measure event responses, link clicks, messaging conversions, reach, etc. The price of a campaign depends on these goals, so for example, message conversions usually cost more than reach alone.

In addition, when calculating the price of your ads, Facebook considers both the location that you choose and the demographics. Finally, major sales events and seasonal changes affect prices. Publishing a campaign for Black Friday or around another holiday season can cost even more. This is one reason why careful tracking of your Facebook Ads campaigns is so important.

Now, let’s see our results in Ads sets and, finally, results for each ad. In this case, let’s look at the goal by ad in a set time frame.

As you can see, to get all the information you want from the Facebook Ads Campaign Manager, you need to navigate to separate views and select the breakdown you want. And you can’t see everything in one place at a glance.

This is where a social media dashboard software like Databox can help.

Here’s How Tracking Multiple Facebook Ads Campaigns Looks in Databox

    Let’s start!

Here’s what I want to see––I want to track several different metrics that are relevant to my ad campaigns. First, we will select Facebook as our data source. Next, drag and drop the following metrics: Impressions, Daily Ads Clicks, Ongoing Message Ads, Campaigns Overview

    Time to Interpret the Data

Let’s start with Impressions. If you have several campaigns running on a daily basis, just glancing at this graph can tell you which campaigns are performing well and which ones need some attention.

Next, we move on to Campaigns Overview and sort them based on the number of impressions. We can quickly see which kinds of content our audience is most interested in. With this information, you can tailor your Facebook Ads campaigns to be more effective.

A great way to visualize your Daily Ads Clicks is using a heatmap. With this display, you can easily see when your ads get the most activity. This allows you to decide when to spend your ad budget and which days are most productive.

The Ongoing Message Ads metric allows you to segment a single campaign by ads. Here you can see the amount spent, the number of clicks, but most importantly, the Results (Goals) for each ad, which tells us if our investment has paid off and whether or not we should modify our campaign strategy.
