A sleek, malleable tool that more marketers should use for their reports
What do you like best about Databox?
Databox is able to integrate way more platforms and data sources than any others that I know (without spending an arm and a leg). The integrations are also really simple to set up on your own, which proves to me that they have an effective and replicable system on their backend. A lot of other competitors require their own team to set up integrations for you, which usually indicates that their solution is too clunky and unpredictable to make available for customers to do it themselves. It is for the exact opposite reason that Databox is awesome and my preferred choice for an aggregated reporting tool. What do you dislike about Databox?
The interface can be slow at times, but I can appreciate why since it's often pulling data from so many sources at once.
The other con is that the custom metrics are somewhat limited. I understand that they are limited by the API permissions of the sources (I know LinkedIn tends to be strict on what they make available via their API), but it would be nice to make the experience of setting up those custom metrics a little more smooth. What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're aggregating results from a variety of different platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Gartner Products, SEMRush, Google Analytics, and more. All of these (with the exception of the Gartner products) have native integrations and are able to pull data into one unified location in Databox.
Our solution for Gartner has been in the form of a Zap through Zapier, which is less ideal than having integrations already available, but is acceptable since Zapier itself is available as an integration.
