Customizing Alerts in the Mobile App

With Databox alerts, you will be notified immediately of any sudden changes, or when new trends are emerging. In the mobile app, you can add new or configure existing alerts in the Alerts tab.

Add new alert

To create a new alert, tap on the “+” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. First, you’ll need to name the alert and define the metric you’d like to be notified of with its data source, and the time interval as well. Next, set up the condition to trigger the alert. There are 4 parameters that need to be set: time interval, condition, threshold and compare to.

The above parameters will trigger an alert if the selected metric has decreased by more than 20% in the last week (7 days), compared to the previous 7-day period.

Delivery options allow you to specify how and when you would like to be alerted (push notification, email). Save the alert by tapping on “Save” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

To edit an existing alert, just tap on it. You can modify the metric settings, conditions or delivery options like you did when you created the alert. You can also pause the alert or remove it completely from your account.
